With the support of the Oliy Majlis (Uzbekistan's parliament), we successfully implemented a project to address the problem of gender-based violence in the family and society. Our work focused on training students and local authorities (makhallas) in Tashkent. We conducted educational events, trainings and seminars aimed at raising awareness of this problem, its consequences and ways to prevent it. We also actively cooperated with local communities and authorities in order to jointly develop and implement measures to protect women's rights and prevent cases of gender-based violence. Our project received wide support and recognition from both participants and the public, and we are proud of its results.
